About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to sole source the expansion of ImageGrid data storage capacity with software for integration with the IG series. The solicitation number is 36C26224P1101, with a Product Service Code of 6525.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to expand the existing ImageGrid data storage system used by the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System Cardiology department's Syngo Dynamics Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The VA seeks to procure an additional 2U expansion chassis with 12 disk drive slots and 12TB of storage capacity, along with the necessary software to integrate the new storage with the current IG series. Responses to this sole source opportunity are due by April 24, 2024 at 2PM Pacific Time. The VA determined that only the original equipment manufacturer, Candelis Inc., can provide the needed software upgrade and compatible expansion unit, and thus a brand name only, small business, single/sole source award to Candelis Inc. is recommended under FAR Part 13.
