About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, is seeking to procure SYRINGE, FEEDING ENFIT 60ML (XI888) for multiple CMOP (Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy) facilities across different locations including Leavenworth, Chelmsford, Tucson, Lancaster, Murfreesboro, Hines, and Ladson. The solicitation (RFQ 36C77025Q0235) requires vendors to submit comprehensive documentation, including a signed SF1449, price schedule, OEM authorized dealer/distributor documentation, and TAA Certificate. Vendors must be direct OEM authorized dealers, distributors, or resellers, and those failing to provide proper documentation will be deemed non-compliant. A critical requirement is that products manufactured in China will not be considered due to FDA and VA safety concerns. The estimated response due date is May 21, 2025, and all submissions must be emailed to Kelley.Cunningham@va.gov.
The procurement is designated as a full and open competition with no specific set-aside category. The total quantity of syringes spans across seven CMOP locations, with individual site requirements ranging from 10,000 to 38,000 units, packaged in quantities of 50 per unit. The procurement falls under NAICS code 325413 for In-vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing and PSC code 6515 for Medical and Surgical Instruments. While specific award value is not detailed, the total procurement across all sites represents approximately 162,000 syringes. Vendors must be prepared to provide comprehensive documentation demonstrating their capability to meet the VA's stringent requirements, including proof of authorized distribution and compliance with medical equipment standards.
