This solicitation is exclusively set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 333310, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The procurement involves a comprehensive water system upgrade that includes installation, commissioning, training services, and decommissioning of the existing RO water system. The total project will be located at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, with specific requirements for technical specifications including a DI divert-to-drain kit and 1" blend valve assembly. While specific award value is not disclosed, the contract represents a targeted procurement for upgrading critical healthcare infrastructure. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with VA's strict requirements, including detailed documentation of manufacturer specifications, delivery schedules, and adherence to subcontracting limitations. The contract's short 90-day performance timeline suggests an urgent need for rapid system replacement and modernization.
