Added: Apr 09, 2015 2:11 pm Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Replace/Relocate Deficient Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Project at the VA Medical Center Providence, RI, Project Number 650-324. Work includes, but is not limited to furnishing of all labor and materials to construct a new Intensive Care Unit. The general scope of work: Construct an 11,250 SF structure at the Providence VAMC, Providence, RI. The project consists of constructing a two story addition to the South Wing of Building A. The first floor only offers structural support for the fully fitted Second floor. The work will also renovate approximately 250 SF of existing space to provide access to the Hospital. The new space will be constructed for the relocation of the Intensive Care Unit. The work will be performed during normal and non-business hours. The medical centers daily operations cannot be impacted. The work consists of, but is not limited to, structural steel erection, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, Architectural Finishes, Medical Equipment, and Asbestos Abatement.



The construction cost range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $36.5 million. Award will be based on the lowest technically acceptable price to the Government. Evaluation factors will include price related factors as well as technical factor of management approach and past performance.



The solicitation package will be available issued on April 27, 2015. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for June 1, 2015 at 2:00pm. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.

All offerors must ensure registration in SAM is current and accurate.
