About this opportunity
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking contractors to support Non-Recurring Demand (NRD) requirements for 363 MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS), AN-SPY-1 Transmitter Group, and AN-SPY-3 Multi-Function Radar (MFR) items. The Department of the Navy is intending to modify an existing Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract with Raytheon Company to fulfill these requirements. Contractors must obtain Government Source Approval prior to award, which requires submitting detailed technical data through the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure. Interested contractors must provide capability statements within 15 days of the notice's publication, though this is not a formal competitive proposal request. All responsible sources may submit their interest, with the government retaining sole discretion on whether to compete the proposed effort.
There is no small business set-aside for this contract opportunity, and the procurement falls under the Ship Building and Repairing NAICS category (336611). The specific items are subject to Free Trade Agreements Act and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement regulations. While no specific contract value is mentioned, the procurement involves 363 specific items across multiple radar and fire control system components. Potential contractors should note that if source approval cannot be processed in time to meet government requirements, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. Interested parties can contact Nicole Rounay at Nicole.t.rounay.civ@us.navy.mil or by phone at (564)230-2822 for additional information about this pre-solicitation notice.
