About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking qualified repair services for one unit of a Control Generator component designated as a Critical Application Item (CAI), identified by National Stock Number 7RH 6110 015046723 and part numbers 21B17-96-B and 70550-02031-115. This is a limited source requirement with repair work to be performed in accordance with contractor repair standards, original manufacturer specifications, and approved repair procedures. Key contract requirements include a mandatory induction period of 365 calendar days from contract award, with the Government reserving the right to extend for an additional 365 calendar days, and contractors must propose option pricing for up to ten additional units over the entire contract period. Evaluation will be based primarily on technical acceptability, repair turnaround time not exceeding 365 days (critical for mission readiness), price reasonableness, and past performance history. The quotation deadline is April 17, 2026, with delivery required by March 17, 2028. Offerors must submit all data required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure or their proposals will not be considered for award.

This solicitation is not designated as a small business set-aside and will be awarded to the responsible source whose offer provides best value. Due to the Repair Method Code 1C designation, only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or OEM-authorized sources are currently known to possess the required data and tooling capabilities; however, non-OEM sources may submit proposals with appropriate capability statements and complete source approval documentation. The Government does not possess sufficient technical data to contract with sources other than the current supplier, and Government Source Approval is required prior to award. The contract covers the repair of one unit with optional additional quantities of up to ten units maximum throughout the contract period. All work shall be performed in the United States, with packaging and marking requirements complying with best standard commercial practices for overseas shipment, including MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129 specifications. Payment will be processed through Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) using invoice and receiving report documentation.
