Salient Technical Characteristics for the Outdoor LED Bollard

One-piece sand-cast aluminum housing with minimum 1/2 inch (0.5 ) thick walls throughout for high-impact and vandal resistance in high-traffic outdoor applications

Nautically or coastally inspired curved/rounded aesthetic profile with seamless, wave-like or hydrodynamic form factor for pedestrian-scale architectural integration

Nominal LED array wattage of 18W (array input approximately 18.2W), with total system input power not exceeding 20.4W, capable of replacing up to 70W metal halide or high-pressure sodium HID equivalents

Delivered lumens in the range of 1,800 to 2,420 (targeting the higher end for this wattage class), with selectable correlated color temperatures of 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K

IESNA Type III light distribution: medium-wide asymmetric forward throw optimized for uniform pedestrian pathway, walkway, and parking area illumination; extended forward reach with controlled side spill, minimal backlight, and soft edge transitions to eliminate hotspots

Full-cutoff optical design with zero uplight (U=0 BUG rating compliant), sharp horizontal cutoff to minimize glare and ensure dark-sky/fixture shielding compliance

Vandal-resistant, clear UV-stabilized polycarbonate lens fully shielding the LED light engine, providing uniform, low-brightness output with no visible diodes or direct glare

Electronic universal voltage driver (120-277V, 50/60Hz), total harmonic distortion 0.90, internal surge protection minimum 2kV, and standard 0-10V dimming (100% to 10% range, minimum 150 A source current)

Internal accessible driver tray compartment allowing field maintenance and driver replacement without full fixture disassembly or removal from mounting base

Flush mounting base with vandal-resistant stainless steel fasteners; nominal overall dimensions of 36 inches height, approximately 14.25 inches width (at curved profile), and 6 inches base depth/footprint

Wet locations listed (CSA/ANSI/UL 1598 and UL 8750 compliant), IP65 ingress protection rating for dust-tight and water-jet resistant performance

Textured architectural powder coat finish over chromate conversion coating for enhanced corrosion resistance (standard bronze or black; custom colors allowable)

Operating temperature range of at least -40°C to +50°C, with minimum 5-year warranty on components

Designed for high-traffic outdoor applications including pedestrian pathways, parking areas, landscape accents, and site perimeter lighting

Salient Technical Characteristics for the base:

Heavy-duty die-cast aluminum adaptor plate (minimum thickness to ensure structural rigidity, typically 1/2 inch or greater) with corrosion-resistant finish suitable for outdoor/wet locations

Universal slot pattern accommodating common existing anchor bolt configurations: 3-bolt at 120°, 4-bolt at 90°, or 2-bolt at 180° layouts; bolt circle diameters ranging from approximately 3.5 inches to 5 inches

Slots sized to accept 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch diameter anchor bolts; includes provisions for large-diameter field-drilled holes to install new anchors if existing bolts are damaged or mismatched

Integrated stainless steel leveling bolts (minimum 4) with built-in leveling bubbles (positioned at 90° orientations) for precise plumb alignment of the adaptor plate prior to bollard mounting

Enables direct mounting of new bollard fixture to the adaptor plate without concrete demolition, anchor bolt extraction, or foundation modification, minimizing site disruption and labor

Compatible with round and square/curved-profile bollard bases for retrofit to legacy or mismatched installations from various sources

Vandal-resistant design suitable for high-traffic pedestrian and vehicle-adjacent areas

No-demolition retrofit capability preserving existing concrete foundation integrity while allowing upgrade to modern LED bollards

Fixtures and accessories shall meet or exceed all salient characteristics listed above without deviation. Or equal submissions must demonstrate compliance with every bullet point via submittals including cut sheets, photometric reports (IES files verifying Type III full-cutoff distribution and lumen output), and material certifications. No exceptions or alternates permitted unless pre-approved in writing.
