About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP WSS) is seeking to procure various circuit card assemblies, electronic components, and repair services for F-18 ATFLIR aircraft systems under an existing Repair Basic Ordering Agreement. The procurement includes multiple electronic components such as circuit card assemblies, servo controllers, optics assemblies, power supplies, and infrared receivers, supporting F-18 aircraft maintenance requirements. The contract will be awarded sole source to Raytheon Company (96214) under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), with the government determining that competitive solicitation is not feasible due to data availability and economic constraints. All responsible sources may submit capability statements and proposals by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on February 10, 2025, though the government retains discretion in determining competitive approach. Source approval is required, and proposals must include necessary source approval documentation.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this contract opportunity. The total quantity of components includes 1-7 units of each specified part, ranging from circuit card assemblies to front ball covers and multiplexer-converters. While no specific award value is disclosed, the procurement is categorized under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and PSC category 5998 for Electrical and Electronic Assemblies. The contract will be administered through the Department of the Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command, with an anticipated award to Raytheon Company. The procurement process emphasizes the unique nature of the required components, highlighting that competitive bidding is not practicable due to the specialized nature of the F-18 ATFLIR system repair requirements.
