About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair services for two Receiver Transmitter units (NSN 7RH 5841-016691341, CB Part Number 349-2000-003) under a firm-fixed-price contract. This procurement is designated with Repair Method Code "2C," which restricts repair capabilities to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or sources specifically authorized by the OEM due to proprietary repair data, tooling, and technical processes. While the government anticipates receiving proposals from the OEM or authorized repair sources, all responsible sources may submit capability statements and proposals, though non-approved sources must complete the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval process prior to award consideration. The evaluation criteria prioritize technical acceptability as the most important factor, followed by repair turnaround time, past performance, and price, with awards made to the responsible source representing the best value to the government. Proposals are due by November 2, 2025, and the government reserves the right to make awards without discussions if multiple offers are received.
This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designation and is open to full and open competition, though practical restrictions exist due to the OEM authorization requirements. The contract requires repair of two specific units with serial numbers MYT459 and MYT305, with a required repair turnaround time of 365 days after asset induction. No specific contract values or budget ranges are disclosed in the solicitation materials. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334511 for Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing and PSC code 5841 for Radar Equipment, Airborne. Performance will take place within the United States, and the contract includes packaging requirements adhering to MIL-STD-2073-1E specifications and MIL-STD-129 marking standards.
