About this opportunity

The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service Region 5 is seeking to renew its lease for office space in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The government currently occupies 68,360 ABOA square feet/75,196 RSF and intends to negotiate a 5-year lease with a 1-year firm term, expiring on February 28, 2026. The solicitation requires office space within Milwaukee city limits, including 36 structured parking spaces, and must meet government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic requirements, and sustainability. Interested parties must submit expressions of interest by February 7, 2025, with anticipated occupancy by March 1, 2026. The government will evaluate potential lease options based on economic advantages, considering factors such as relocation costs, tenant improvements, and telecommunications infrastructure.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this lease opportunity. The space requirement is for a fully serviced lease, with no surface parking allowed and strict prohibitions on telecommunications equipment under Section 889 of the FY19 NDAA. The leasing contacts are Jeanette Torres (Lease Contracting Officer) and Colleen McGuigan (Leasing Specialist), with no broker involvement. While specific award values are not disclosed, the government will comprehensively assess alternative space options against the current lease. The lease space must not be located in a 500-year flood plain, and the government has a continuing mission-related need for this specific location, suggesting a strong preference for maintaining its current premises unless significant economic advantages are identified through alternative options.
