About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) is seeking to procure two Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) for the 497th Combat Task Force, with delivery to Tracy Defense Distribution Depot in California. The solicitation (FA524025Q0019) targets potential manufacturers in the all-terrain vehicle manufacturing sector with a specific NAICS code of 336999. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and are required to submit quotes via email to specified Air Force contracting personnel by March 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM Chamorro Standard Time. The government will evaluate offers based on acceptability to solicitation specifications, price, and delivery terms, with the primary objective of obtaining the best value rather than the lowest price. A critical caveat is that funds are not currently available, and the contract's execution is contingent upon future appropriated funding.
The solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside with a size standard of 1,000 employees, providing opportunities for smaller businesses in the motor vehicle manufacturing sector. The UTVs must meet specific salient characteristics, including an enclosed passenger cabin with five installed seats, air conditioning/heating, windshield wipers, front and rear lighting, and covered rear storage, with a required color of dark grey. The planned delivery timeline is 120 calendar days after receipt of order, with vehicles to be delivered to the 25600 S Chrisman Rd address in Tracy, California. While no specific award value is explicitly stated, the procurement represents a focused acquisition to support the 36th Wing at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. Potential offerors are advised that no legal liability for payment will arise until funds are confirmed and the Contractor receives written notice from the Contracting Officer.
