About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP-WSS) issued a sole-source notice of intent on May 26, 2026 for an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity long-term contract to evaluate, repair, and/or modify sewage treatment equipment and flow control valves to A-condition status, with responses due by June 10, 2026. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.103-1 authority.
NAVSUP-WSS will consider repair of two specific items identified by NIIN: Pumping Unit, Sewage (014125270) and Valve, Flow Control (015614611). The Government lacks the data necessary to perform required repairs or manufacture internally. The contract is subject to Free Trade Agreements Act and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement restrictions.
All responsible sources may submit capability statements within 30 days of publication. The Government will consider all timely responses, though award of the sole-source contract remains solely within Government discretion and is not a competitive procurement. New sources must submit source approval information together with their proposal using the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair, available at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/business_opps/. WSS will not delay award pending source approval; approval timing typically prevents delay of contract award.
