About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment is seeking to procure fire equipment nozzles under NSN 4210-00-465-1906 through an upcoming unrestricted Request for Quote (RFQ) numbered SPE8E9-26-Q-0001. Contractors must conduct First Article Testing (FAT) with four samples and submit test results within 120 days of contract award, including Form DD1222 to the designated FAT monitor at CE_TESTING@DLA.MIL. The government will review FAT reports within 90 days, and two acceptable samples must be retained by the contracting officer with permanent government markings and testing completion dates. Source inspection is required for this procurement, and the RFQ will be posted on SAM.gov after October 14, 2025, with a 30-day solicitation period.
This opportunity involves no set-aside designations and will be awarded as an unrestricted procurement open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the pre-solicitation notice. The contract structure will be an indefinite delivery arrangement, though the specific award value and annual estimated quantities are not fully disclosed in the available documentation. The procurement timeline spans from the October 17, 2025 due date for this pre-solicitation through the FAT submission deadline of 120 days post-award, with government review extending an additional 90 days. The technical requirements reference specifications and drawings spanning over five decades, indicating this is likely a mature, standardized product with established manufacturing parameters.
