About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command intends to procure seven Climate Pro D18e portable air conditioning units and required parts through a sole source acquisition via GSA Federal Supply Schedule. This procurement is driven by an urgent and compelling need due to the failure of the command's central HVAC system, requiring immediate acquisition to maintain mission readiness. The acquisition will utilize a Firm Fixed Price purchase order under FAR Parts 12 and 8.4, with procedures governed by the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and FAR 8.405-6. A Limited Sources Justification and Approval has been signed under FAR 6.302-1, citing sole source authority because the selected vendor is uniquely qualified and standard ordering procedures would cause unacceptable delays.
