About this opportunity
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Logistics Operations Division is seeking to procure eleven (11) 4-wheel portability kits compatible with Kubota GL7000 and GL11000 Diesel Generators through Request for Quote 70FB8026Q00000011. These kits are essential for supporting FEMA's staging field operations and disaster response missions, providing enhanced portability for 11KW generators in rural and austere environments. The 4-wheel kits must feature extra-wide tires for stability, a front axle steering mechanism, and a pull handle with tow hook for transportation purposes. Award will be made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with vendors required to submit price quotes accompanied by clear photographs of the proposed items. The original RFQ 70FB8026Q00000006 has been cancelled due to an incorrect NAICS code, and all quotes submitted under that RFQ will not be evaluated; the reissued solicitation under the corrected code is now open with a deadline of December 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM ET.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition exclusively to small business concerns. No incumbent contractor or current contract information is referenced in the available solicitation materials. The pricing table indicates a total firm fixed price requirement, though specific dollar values have not been disclosed in the public notice. Delivery of all eleven units must be completed within 60 calendar days following contract award to the Department of Homeland Security facility located at 501 West Felix Street in Fort Worth, Texas 76115. Contractors are required to coordinate all delivery arrangements with the Government Point of Contact in advance, with uncoordinated deliveries subject to rejection at the contractor's expense; final inspection will occur at the delivery location.
