Each UTV must seat five passengers and include specific features such as air conditioning, enclosed hard cabin with windshield wipers, a 600-pound capacity cargo bed, 2,000-pound towing capacity, and specialized lighting systems for airfield operations. The vehicles must comply with Dropped Object Prevention requirements and support nighttime operations with front and rear lighting, plus electrical systems capable of powering airfield radios. The solicitation calls for delivery of two UTVs within 120 calendar days after receipt of order, with the equipment requiring shipment to Singapore for operations at Paya Lebar. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract, though no specific contract value has been disclosed in the available documentation. This requirement represents a fleet modernization effort to replace aging vehicles with exposed cabs and difficult-to-procure replacement parts, aimed at improving transportation capacity and operational reliability for airfield operations and aircraft protection.
