About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting quotes for 1,360 rolls of 3" wide x 60 yards long x 13 mil thick pressure sensitive tape, specifically nuclear grade silver tape with rubber resin adhesive and cotton polyester backing manufactured by Nashua/Tyco Corp (Part Number 357N). The procurement requires the tape to have a minimum 85% shelf life remaining upon receipt and includes stringent requirements for hazardous material safety data sheets, cybersecurity compliance under NIST SP 800-171, and supply chain traceability documentation. Contractors must submit signed and completed solicitations via email or fax to be considered responsive, with specific attention to completing applicable boxes in clause 52.204-24. The solicitation was posted on July 9, 2025, with a tight deadline requiring quotes to be submitted by July 10, 2025. Additional documentation requirements include a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for Certificate of Compliance that must be attached in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) e-Business Suite.

This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside, restricting participation to qualified small business entities. The contract specifies delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, with a required delivery date of October 3, 2025. The solicitation does not specify contract values or budget ranges, focusing instead on the technical specifications and compliance requirements for the 1,360 rolls of specialized nuclear grade tape. The CDRL documentation is classified with distribution statement D, limiting access to DoD and DoD contractors only for administration and operations purposes. The procurement falls under NAICS code 339940 for Office Supplies Manufacturing and PSC code 7510 for Office Supplies, though the specialized nuclear grade requirements suggest this is for critical maritime defense applications rather than standard office use.
