- The ability to generate a 3D construct with pluripotent stem cells and their differentiated counterparts, to include (but not limited to) mesenchymal stem cells, chondrocytes, cardiac progenitor cells, human umbilical vein endothelial cells, neural stem cells, and pluripotent stem cells;
- Layer and positioning resolution up to 1 µm;
- Clean chamber environmental features to include:
o HEPA filter
o UV-C germicidal lamp
- Exchangeable termperature-controllable printheads;
- Printheads and printhead modes that include at least pneumatic, inkjet, syringe pump, and thermoplastic filament extrusion options;
- HD camera tool head included;
- Photocuring tool head to support at least both 365 nm and 405 nm UV light sources included;
- Ability to use a wide variety of biocompatible bio-inks, as well as the availability of those inks. Bio-ink availability should include: polysaccharide hydrogel for universal printing of various cell lines, RGD peptides-integrated bioink for improved cell attachment, sodium alginate-based bioink for biodegradable support, thermoplastic bio-ink for development of load-bearing tissue constructs, and bio-conductive ink to support generation of electrically active tissue, such as nerve and heart tissue;
- Installation;
- Training.

(vii) Delivery shall be to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), NIH, 9800 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, MD 20850, and is to be within 4 weeks after receipt of order. Offeror is to propose FOB terms. Shipping costs must be included in the quote.
