The space must be located within a defined area bounded by I-435, Roe Avenue, W 135th Street, and Highway 69 in Overland Park. The lease will include office and training areas, with the government evaluating potential alternatives based on economic advantages, relocation costs, and infrastructure replication expenses. The contract will require a contiguous space on one or multiple floors, with strict prohibitions such as not being located above a drive-through and meeting specific security infrastructure demands. Key government contacts include Veronica Montoya (Sr. Transaction Manager), Emily Becher (Lease Contracting Officer), and Christie McMullen (Project Manager), who will oversee the procurement process for this lease opportunity.

The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Overland Park, KS that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
