About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha is seeking alternative office space to replace their current 2,900 square foot lease in Lone Tree, Colorado, which is set to expire. The government is evaluating potential replacement facilities that could economically satisfy their office and related space requirements while considering factors such as included janitorial services and relocation costs. The evaluation will encompass physical move expenses, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunication infrastructure requirements, and potential non-productive agency downtime during any transition. This solicitation falls under NAICS code 531120 for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and PSC category X1PZ for Lease/Rental of Other Non-Building Facilities. Interested parties must respond by June 17, 2025, providing only seven days from the posting date of June 10, 2025.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors capable of providing suitable commercial office space. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or specify award values or budget ranges for the potential lease arrangement. The requirement centers on securing approximately 2,900 square feet of office space, with the place of performance located in Littleton, Colorado 80124. The government's decision-making process will be driven by economic advantage considerations, weighing the total cost of occupancy including both lease rates and transition expenses. The timeline appears focused on identifying viable alternatives quickly, given the approaching expiration of the current lease arrangement.
