About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command (Air Force Special Operations Command) is seeking qualified contractors for market research on a surround sound system installation at Hurlburt Field, Florida, with responses due May 11, 2026 at 1400 CDT. This procurement is set aside for Total Small Business.
The work involves installing a complete surround sound system in the Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) at Building 91650, 916 Sanchez Street, Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida 32544, for the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron. The installation scope includes eight loudspeakers mounted around a gym, three subwoofers, two amplifiers in a wall-mount rack, a digital sound processor (DSP), and a Bluetooth wall plate. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, travel, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for installation.
Pre-installation activities require the contractor to review site conditions, confirm equipment locations with the client, verify power availability, and coordinate the installation schedule. Programming and configuration tasks include setting up the DSP for system routing and crossover settings, configuring amplifier channel assignments and gain structure, and testing all components. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on all new equipment and replacement parts, commencing upon government acceptance of the project.
Contractor personnel must comply with all base security requirements, obtain base identification and vehicle passes, submit a Contractor Employee Listing in Excel format, and retrieve all identification credentials upon contract completion. The contractor is responsible for purchasing all equipment. Government support includes assistance with permits, facility access coordination, storage and staging space, and a host escort during installation.
