About this opportunity

The 2026 Robins Requirements Symposium is a Special Notice published by the Department of the Air Force announcing a one-day hybrid conference scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 0700 to 1730 hours. The event is co-hosted by Robins Air Force Base and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Central Georgia Chapter at the Museum of Aviation, Century of Flight Hangar, located at 1942 Heritage Blvd., Robins AFB, Georgia. The symposium is designed to inform the private sector on Robins AFB's portfolio focus areas, acquisition forecasts, and future requirements aligned with the Air Force mission to provide war-winning capabilities on time and on cost. The event is offered in hybrid format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation from industry stakeholders. Registration opened in mid-March 2026 through www.ndiacg.com with attendance fees of $225 for in-person industry participation (including lunch) or $205 for virtual industry attendance.

The primary objective of the symposium is to facilitate industry awareness of upcoming competitive business opportunities by presenting future vision and requirements from Department of Defense and Robins AFB leadership across multiple acquisition portfolios. Senior leadership from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex will deliver briefings characterizing requirements that will be satisfied through contracts awarded to both large and small businesses. The symposium features 45-minute concurrent breakout sessions covering specific mission areas including C3I, F-15, C-130 Hercules, C-5 Galaxy/C-17, Electronic Warfare, Armament systems, Support Equipment & Vehicles, and Automatic Test Systems, with presentations from Portfolio Acquisition Executives roadmapping each AFLCMC portfolio. All contractors and industry members are eligible to participate, with the event explicitly welcoming representatives from organizations of all sizes within the Defense Industrial Base. Presentations from prime contractors Boeing and Northrop Grumman are also included, providing additional context on industry perspectives and capabilities.
