About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center has issued a Special Notice announcing the 2026 Anti-Tamper Conference and issuing a call for papers. The conference will be held from April 21-23, 2026, at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Kossiakoff Center in Laurel, Maryland, celebrating 25 years of Anti-Tamper resilience. The event is sponsored by the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent and seeks original, previously unpublished submissions addressing a broad spectrum of Anti-Tamper topics relevant to system development, evaluation, and management. The conference will serve both contractor and government personnel, requiring all papers and presentations to be non-proprietary and compatible with SECRET//COLLATERAL security levels. Submissions are encouraged from suppliers, universities, and other organizations presenting innovative technologies, tools, methodologies, applications, and research results in the Anti-Tamper field.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to solicit high-quality technical papers that advance the state of Anti-Tamper technology and knowledge sharing within the defense community. Abstract submissions must be received by August 6, 2025, with acceptance notifications scheduled for September 12, 2025. Key submission topics include commercial microelectronics in AT solutions, acquisition lifecycle strategies, reverse engineering threats, emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and quantum computing, and next-generation microelectronics applications. Papers will be evaluated based on relevance, data quality, technical significance, and interpretation of results, with submissions focused on AT techniques required to clearly articulate specific attacks mitigated and the Technology Readiness Level of the technique. All abstracts must be submitted as UNCLASSIFIED or UNCLASSIFIED//CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED INFORMATION, and accepted abstracts will be considered for inclusion in conference proceedings regardless of presentation selection. The conference will feature approximately 20-minute presentations, poster sessions, and vendor tables for company representatives.
