About this opportunity
The National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Acquisition and Cooperative Support is conducting market research to identify qualified sources to support the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) in providing a data collection, file maintenance, and analysis capability for the Survey of Earned Doctorates (SED) for the 2026 through 2028 survey cycles. Key requirements include experience in conducting large-scale, multi-mode, and multi-stage data collection for federal government surveys, the ability to provide web and computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) survey data collection systems, and expertise in state-of-the-art database development and maintenance practices that reflect an understanding of confidentiality, data security, and access issues for highly restricted data files. Responses to the Sources Sought announcement are due by November 25, 2024.
This procurement is not set aside for any socioeconomic category. Small businesses across all socioeconomic categories are encouraged to respond. The current incumbent contractor is not named, and no specific award value or budget range is provided. The Statement of Work indicates the work will cover the SED survey cycles from 2026 through 2029.
