The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with the Ada County, Idaho Sheriff’s Office for Law Enforcement Services.

A class justification and approval not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(5) or 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(a)(2), when full and open competition need not be provided for when– (i) A statute expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made through another agency or from a specified source. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonable available. The Corps has proprietary jurisdiction within federal regulations over all Corps of Engineers administered lands and waters, and the Ada County Sheriff Department has jurisdiction to enforce all state and local laws that exist.

This requirement is to provide services for Law Enforcement Patrol at Ada County, ID.
