Description

2013 Suppression Asphalt Repair. Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest intends to acquire by contract the repair of 140 feet of the Entiat River Road and Tommy Creek Road, with an option for repair of 140 feet of the Icicle River Road. Repairs are full depth patch with hot asphalt concrete mixture and crack sealing and repair.

This project is located on the Entiat Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest North of Entiat, Washington.


Period for performance is from date of award to October 31, 2013.


Project Manager is Ms. Lori McAllister, Engineer, 509-664-9263, and 509-670-4603.


This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The Forest Service will award a firm fixed-price contract to that responsible Offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, is fair and reasonable, and has been determined to be the best value to the Forest Service. Offers will be evaluated based upon: price; experience and past performance.


Davis Bacon Act wage rates apply to any resulting contract.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by contacting askSAM@gsa.gov, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.

All offers must be received September 23, 2013, 1630 Hrs.
