About this opportunity

The Department of the Army National Guard, specifically the 181st Intelligence Wing in Indiana, is procuring Motorola Radio Repeater equipment to upgrade their existing communications infrastructure. This sole-source procurement includes six channel conversion upgrades, three new GTR 8000 base radios with programming and installation services, three GTR 8000 reconfigurations, one six-channel combiner/multicoupler system, two new antennas with transmission lines, one rack-mounted UPS, and one new equipment rack. The contractor must provide all equipment, manpower, installation, and integration services with existing components, following Motorola Solutions R56 standards for communication sites. The solicitation emphasizes that funds are not presently available, and no award will be made until funding is secured, with the government reserving the right to cancel at any time. The original solicitation deadline was September 15, 2025, but this revised notice extends the due date to September 22, 2025, with delivery required by March 31, 2026.

This procurement was initially set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns under NAICS code 334220 with a size standard of $35.5 million, though the current revision notice indicates "No Set-Aside Used." The justification documents identify five potential small business contractors including AEG Group, BHPE LLC, Edge Technology Distributors, Ferbak Inc., and WildFlower International, all capable of providing Motorola equipment and services. The procurement is structured as a firm-fixed price contract, though the total estimated value has been redacted from available documents. Work will be performed in Terre Haute, Indiana, at the existing communications facility which currently operates Motorola LMR infrastructure. The contractor will be responsible for removing existing Quantar LMR network equipment and antennas while installing and optimizing the new system components on an existing 40-foot tower.
