About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, In Service Vessel Sustainment branch is seeking to procure machinery control system components to support the installation of the Coast Guard Machinery Propulsion System on 175' WLM Keeper Class Buoy Tenders during scheduled Major Maintenance Availability (MMA). All submissions must be received within fifteen calendar days from the notice posting date of October 14, 2025, making the response deadline October 28, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors. While the Coast Guard identifies Rockwell Automation as the anticipated Original Equipment Manufacturer, the sources sought notice allows other firms with demonstrated capability to respond. The opportunity requires vendors to package multiple components into a single kit for government installation, though specific quantities and award values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The procurement supports critical maintenance operations on the Coast Guard's 175-foot Keeper Class Buoy Tenders, which are essential vessels for maritime navigation and safety operations.
