About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking eligible contractors to provide Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support for various H-53 helicopter components, including but not limited to repair, replacement, overhaul, and/or modification services. The PBL support is required for a period of up to seven years, with an initial five-year base period and two one-year option periods. Interested contractors must have the capability to partner with the Fleet Readiness Center-East (FRC-E) depot in accordance with Title 10 United States Code requirements. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice must be submitted by November 6, 2024, and the government intends to negotiate a contract with only one source, Parker Hannifin in Irvine, CA, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
There is no small business set-aside for this requirement, and the government does not possess the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacturing on its own. Contractors that are not an approved source must submit additional information as detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure to be considered. The estimated value of this contract is not provided, but it supports multiple NAICS codes related to aircraft parts and accessories manufacturing.
