The procurement involves completing the remaining 20% of hardware needed for a modern network fabric mesh topology, including Juniper Layer 2 and Layer 3 QFX devices, Apstra network management software, and five years of support and sustainment services. The technical requirements specify multi-vendor management solutions supporting VMware NSX-T, automation capabilities, configuration rollback, zero trust provisioning, and STIG compliance standards. Materials include various network components such as QSFP28 transceivers, direct attach copper cables, switches, power supplies, SFP modules, and comprehensive support and licensing packages. The solicitation was posted on August 19, 2025, with responses due by September 2, 2025, providing approximately two weeks for proposal preparation.
