About this opportunity
The Department of the Army seeks a turnkey additive manufacturing solution comprising two industrial-grade 3D printers for Fort Hood, Texas, with quotes due July 31, 2026. The procurement is designated a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, though the justification restricts competition to authorized Stratasys distributors and resellers based on proprietary technology and OEM-certified services rather than sole source.
Place of performance is Fort Hood, Texas. The requirement specifies a Stratasys Origin Two polymer printer with minimum build volume of 192 mm × 108 mm × 370 mm utilizing programmable photopolymerization technology, and a Stratasys F370CR composite-ready FDM printer with minimum build volume of 355 mm × 254 mm × 355 mm capable of printing carbon-fiber-reinforced thermoplastics. The complete turnkey solution includes installation, configuration, calibration, manufacturer-led on-site training (scheduled only after operational verification), software licenses, initial consumables, and 12-month manufacturer warranty covering parts, labor, and software updates. Delivery is required by September 4, 2026, FOB Destination. Training covers system operation, material handling, safety protocols, job setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Quotes must be submitted electronically in three volumes: Technical Capability (maximum 10 pages), Past Performance (maximum 3 pages), and Pricing. Evaluation is sequential: Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price, with award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, past-performance-acceptable offeror. The contract is firm fixed price and incorporates standard FAR and DFARS clauses including electronic invoicing via WAWF and DoD item unique identification requirements. NAICS 333248, PSC 3695. Questions are due July 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Daylight Time.
