About this opportunity
Advanced Technology International (ATI) issued a Request for Solutions on behalf of the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TREX II) consortium to develop a 120mm Mortar Training System, with responses due by November 5, 2026. The procurement is not set-aside and seeks innovative prototypes to enhance warfighter readiness through modeling, simulation, training, and experimental validation under a DoD-sponsored consortium model. The system must function across both the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) and Stryker M1129 Mortar Carrier platforms. Required capabilities include crew-installable and crew-removable design with installation and removal time under five minutes each, support for training rounds between 25 and 35 pounds, crew safety, and replication of adjust-fire and multi-fire sequences at rates up to 16 rounds per minute. The Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Orlando is the contracting office. Interested members of the TREX II consortium and U.S. technology base companies may participate. Additional program information is available at https://www.trexii.org/.
