About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit repair or modification of 100 W filter PA air components, NSN 7R-1680-016108983-E7 (TDP VER 002), with a response deadline of October 27, 2026; this procurement carries a sole-source intent based on Government-approved source qualification requirements.
The Government requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality. The approved source or sources retain unique design capability, manufacturing and repair knowledge, and technical data that are not economically available to the Government and are essential to quality maintenance. This item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support full and open competition. Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures and receive approval from the cognizant Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part. The time required for new-source approval typically prevents award delays pending qualification.
The procurement specifies delivery FOB origin for 19 units. Only Government-approved sources have been solicited. If you are not an approved source, you must submit source approval information detailed in NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures for spares or repair (available at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/NAVSUP-Enterprise/NAVSUP-Weapon-Systems-Support/Business-Opps/), along with technical data supporting your experience in production of the same or similar item or demonstrating capability if this is an item your company has not previously made.
