About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding the removal of one approximately 50-foot antenna tower and one Spira-Cone Antenna. Restroom facilities will be available on site and contractors do not need to bring in landscapers provided light vehicles do not damage the property. Antennas will be de-energized prior to work. The spira-cone tower is 90 feet tall and any guy wires or rods penetrating the ground must be cut off at the ground level. The condition of the structures for climbing is unknown. All removed equipment, tower materials, and guy wires must be properly disposed of by the contractor. A general contractor's license is required. Workers' compensation insurance of at least $100,000 and general liability insurance of $500,000 per occurrence are minimum insurance requirements.

1) It states that there are normally no public restrooms. Will this locaon have a restroom? If it does not, are we allowed to schedule to have a Port-a-jon on site?

Restroom facilies will be available for use.

2) What is expected from us, in reference to site condions. Do we need to hire a landscaper once work is completed? We wouldn’t need any heavy machinery for this size project, but I need to make sure I am accounng for everything.

Since no heavy equipment is needed, you should not need to bring in a landscaper. Provided that the light duty vehicles used don’t tear up the property.

3) We assume these antennas/towers will be de-energized or someone can de-energize these systems prior to our arrival. Can you please confirm this?

Yes, antennas will be “De-energized”

4) How tall is the spira-cone tower?

90’

5) Will the anchor bolts also need to be ground down to concrete level or is leaving them protruding sufficient?

Condion Unknown

7) Does the government want to keep any equipment or materials from these towers? It appears that there is a camera and some other equipment on the fan tower.
