81st Operations Support Flight Weather Operations Desk – Ground to Air Radio Requirement Technical Specifications for Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Receiver and Transmitter Systems Date: 15 Aug 2024

Purpose: To replace the unsupportable radio systems currently utilized by the Keesler Weather desk, the 81st Operations Support Flight requires one each Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radio receiver and one each UHF radio transmitter with the technical specifications listed below. The quoted equipment should be in line with the Air Force Flight Standards Agency (AFFSA) Air Traffic Control Radio Replacement (ATCRR) program guidance.
