About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for the Town of Carrboro, North Carolina, detailing an office upfit project at the Jones Ferry Road Water Treatment Plant administrative building. The project encompasses the complete renovation of a 650 square-foot unfinished storage area adjacent to the laboratory on the third floor, including all materials, labor, equipment, and tools necessary to create a fully operational space. The contractor must furnish all work as specified in the project specifications and drawings, with the scope including structural, mechanical, electrical, and finishing components to transform the existing space into finished office or functional areas meeting the plant's operational requirements.

The document establishes the technical and contractual framework for the renovation work, requiring contractors to comply with all specified standards, building codes, and quality requirements outlined in the accompanying drawings and detailed specifications. Pricing, payment terms, bid submission deadlines, and other financial arrangements are referenced within the broader contract opportunity but are not detailed within this scope document itself. The project is located in Carrboro, North Carolina, and contractors must be prepared to execute work in an active water treatment plant facility, potentially requiring coordination with ongoing plant operations and adherence to any access or safety protocols established by the municipality.
