About this file
This document is a Uniform Federal Requirements (UFR) specification for a Wrong Way Detection System for the 19th Security Forces Squadron at Vandenburg gate. The system requires a new, standalone detection and warning mechanism to identify and alert both drivers and installation access control point personnel when vehicles enter the gate from the wrong direction.
Key technical requirements include: a visual driver indicator that lights up/flashes to warn wrong-way drivers, an installation access point enunciator with audible and visual alarms, three years of technical support, and compliance with environmental protection regulations. The procurement involves two primary items: the Wrong Way Detection System itself and its associated peripherals/accessories, with one of each being requested. Additional specifications mandate that the system be new, from current production models, environmentally safe, free of prohibited materials like asbestos and mercury, and include all documentation in English. All documentation and system components must be grammatically correct and meet EPA restrictions.
