About this file

This document is a Written Inquiries and Answers record for the Concrete Replacement - Pueblo Complex project in Colorado (GovTribe ID: DQ 2026000217). The file addresses nine clarification questions submitted by bidders regarding the scope of work for concrete replacement at the Pueblo Complex facility. Key project requirements include removal and replacement of a minimum of six inches of subgrade concrete across all areas, with basketball hoops to be poured separately rather than monolithic with the main slab to maintain proper height and levelness. The contractor will be responsible for providing private utility locates on-site. Existing wooded steps, metal handrails, and HVAC units will be removed by the government team to allow concrete pouring in those areas. Concrete work will extend to metal skirting on existing sidewalks adjacent to trailer pods, and surveying will be permitted for the ADA ramp area between trailer pods one and two to ensure proper drainage and ADA compliance, provided surveyors pass background checks.

Additional administrative clarifications were provided regarding site operations and labor standards. The government will permit the main site supervisor to carry a cellular phone per Warden approval, though general cell phone use remains restricted otherwise. Metal forming stakes are acceptable and do not require numbering; however, they will be accounted for at the beginning and end of each work shift. The project is not utilizing Federal funds and therefore does not require Davis Bacon wage compliance. No information regarding pricing, contract duration, or award timeline is included in this inquiries and answers document.
