About this file
This is a Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in conjunction with a deer fence installation project for the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management, Forestry Division. The project involves the installation of approximately 29,344 linear feet of woven wire deer exclosure fence across multiple blocks of State Game Lands located in Centre, McKean, and Elk counties in the North Central region of Pennsylvania. Contractors must furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fence installation in accordance with attached specifications. Optional site inspection tours are available by contacting the Regional Forester, Paul Lupo, at the Jersey Shore office. Technical questions should be directed to Paul S. Weiss, Chief of the Forestry Division, or Aaron Tyson, Forest Program Specialist, while procurement and bidding procedure inquiries should be directed to the PGC Procurement Division at 717-787-6594.
All bidders must complete and submit the Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form, certifying compliance with Pennsylvania's Unemployment Compensation Law, Workers' Compensation Law, and applicable state labor and workforce safety laws, including but not limited to the Construction Workplace Misclassification Act, Child Labor Act, Minimum Wage Act, Prevailing Wage Act, Equal Pay Law, and multiple other employment regulations. Contractors must understand that false certifications are subject to penalties including contract termination and three-year bid ineligibility under 62 Pa. C.S. § 531, and that any changes in compliance status must be reported immediately to the purchasing agency. All quantities are estimated for this project.
