About this file
This document is a Market Survey Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for a Custom Audio-Visual & Video Tele-Conferencing (VTC) Project for their Command and Control Communications (C3) Division. The project involves replacing A/V and VTC technology in the Washington Operations Center Complex (WOCC) and Management Operations Center (MOC), with a comprehensive solution spanning three adjacent rooms: WOCC, LAN room, and MOC. Key requirements include supporting 19 Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) workstations, integrating existing DirectTV boxes and DTEN devices, providing extensive display capabilities (multiple 85", 55", and 43" screens), full room audio with selectable sources, and the ability to share content across rooms.
The RFI seeks interested parties from all business sizes to demonstrate capability in providing an unclassified technology solution that supports Microsoft Teams and Zoom, maintains strict security protocols, and offers flexibility in content sharing. Responses are due by May 10, 2025, and must be submitted via email to the FAA Contracting Officer. The procurement approach is yet to be determined and may include open competition, small business set-asides, or a tiered competition. The primary NAICS code is 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing), with a size standard of 800 employees. Respondents must provide a 20-page capability statement and detailed business information, with the potential for a site visit before submission.
