About this file
This is a standard contract template document from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) used for state and local procurement activities. The template provides the framework for soliciting proposals and establishing contractual agreements for various services and programs, including the Child Passenger Safety Program, which focuses on program development and administration for children under age 15 related to traffic safety, fatalities, injuries, equipment usage, and law adherence on Wisconsin roadways. The program encompasses education, networking, and safety initiatives. The template establishes the general structure and requirements that bidders must follow when responding to RFPs issued by WisDOT, including provisions for proposal submission procedures, evaluation criteria, and contract administration protocols.
The standard template outlines the contractual framework applicable to WisDOT procurements but does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding amounts within the template itself. These details are determined on a contract-by-contract basis in individual RFPs. The template serves as the foundation for establishing clear expectations regarding contractor responsibilities, deliverables, performance standards, and compliance requirements. Specific financial terms, award dates, contract duration, renewal options, and funding sources are incorporated into individual solicitations based on program-specific needs and available appropriations from the State of Wisconsin.
