About this file
This is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 for window washing services at the Alexandria, Louisiana VA Medical Center in Pineville. The VA is seeking to identify potential vendors capable of providing window washing services for a 12-month base period with four optional renewal years. Responses to the RFI are due by 4:00 PM Central Time on May 26, 2026, and must be submitted via email to bennett.smith2@va.gov. This RFI is preliminary market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government to issue a contract. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) may be issued subsequently based on the information gathered from respondent submissions.
The RFI targets vendors classified under NAICS code 561720 (Janitorial Services), which carries a Small Business Administration size standard of $22 million in annual revenue. Small business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Businesses (VOSB), HUBZone-certified firms, and 8(a) program participants are encouraged to respond. Interested vendors must provide company name, point of contact information, business size classification, SAM UEI number, and details regarding any existing Government-wide contracts, Federal Supply Schedule agreements, or other procurement vehicle availability. No pricing information or specific contract terms are outlined in the RFI, as this is strictly an information-gathering phase to assess market competition and pricing availability within the industry.
