WHEATRIDGE_RECREATION_CENTER_VOL_1_Part_2.pdf

The provided file is a specification document for the Wheatridge Recreation Center, Volume 1, covering Divisions 0-13, specifically related to a pool lighting replacement project in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The project involves replacing the original halogen pool lights, which are no longer industry-supported, with modern LED lighting. The current pool lights, installed when the recreation center opened in 2000, have begun to fail and require complete replacement to maintain facility operations and community service.

While detailed pricing information is not explicitly provided in the file, the project appears to be a municipal infrastructure upgrade focused on improving the pool area's lighting efficiency and functionality. The replacement is driven by the need to update aging equipment and ensure continued safe and effective pool illumination. The project is being conducted by the City of Wheat Ridge and appears to be funded through municipal resources, with the primary goal of maintaining the recreation center's indoor leisure and lap pool area.
