About this file
FCI Manchester Bread Products Delivery Schedule
This document is a delivery schedule requirement for a federal food service contract at FCI (Federal Correctional Institution) Manchester. The Federal Bureau of Prisons Food Service Department requires weekly delivery of bread products during the period of performance from June 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026. Deliveries must occur between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm EST, and federal holiday deliveries will not be accepted. The quantities listed in the solicitation represent estimated maximum amounts throughout the quarter.
The contractor must contact the Food Service Warehouse prior to each delivery for approval or schedule adjustments, as delivery schedules will be strictly enforced. Failure to meet established delivery timeframes constitutes nonconformance to contract terms. All items must be palletized and meet specific temperature requirements: non-frozen perishable foods between 34°F and 41°F, canned goods above 34°F (not frozen), and frozen foods at 0°F or below, with any product showing signs of prior thawing subject to refusal. Certified religious diet items must be marked with the Kosher Symbol on individual packages. The Government reserves the right to reject nonconforming supplies and require repair or replacement at no increase to contract price. Conditionally received items found to be unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor within two weeks at vendor expense; items not retrieved within two weeks will be disposed of by warehouse staff. Contractor failure to meet delivery schedules without excusable delay and/or failure to conform to specifications will negatively impact past performance history and may result in a determination of non-responsibility for future awards.
