EMERGENCY KIT
INVITATION TO BID# GSKB1225
The University of Washington’s department of Housing & Food Services (HFS) is seeking bids to establish a multiyear supply contract for preassembled backpacks with emergency supplies (aka emergency kits). A listing of required items is provided. In addition to emergency kits, vendors may include a catalog or online link to pricing for other similar related items.
https://hfs.uw.edu/Live/Undergraduate-Communities
The scope includes having the awarded supplier arranging for delivery to multiple locations on campus, typically twice a year in late Aug and early Sept.
The truck driver needs to off load the kits using a lift gate on the truck, delivering typically at street level (although two or three locations do have a loading dock), keep them on the pallets and use a vendor provided (not UW provided) pallet jack to move the kits into each building. This is not a curb side drop and go. The trucking company teams needs to move the kits into our buildings.
