About this file
This document is an air quality permit issued by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality to modify the operating permit for two coal-fired boilers and one natural gas-fired steam generator at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The permit outlines 25 conditions including limiting emissions of NOx, CO, SO2, PM, and opacity for the boilers; requiring initial and periodic performance testing; restricting coal sulfur content; and mandating compliance with applicable New Source Performance Standards. It also addresses a 100-hour non-emergency operation limit and Tier 2 certification for an emergency diesel generator. The related federal contract opportunity is for annual boiler plant emission testing services at the Sheridan VA Medical Center to ensure compliance with the permit conditions. The solicitation number is provided along with details on the contracting agency.
