About this file

This is a Quick Start Guide for the Weapons Government Reference Architecture (GRA) v4.1 (RAPiD series), released January 31, 2024 by the Digital Acquisition & Sustainment Operations (DASO) at AFLCMC/EBRD, Eglin AFB, FL.

The document outlines the components and implementation of the Weapons GRA v4.1, which is delivered as a set of Cameo .mdzip SysML models. Key components include: (1) Program GIF for tailorable program requirements, (2) Program iHub for data storage and artifact management, (3) Reference and Sample Document Library, (4) Tool Suite with templates, (5) WOSA for weapons communication, (6) CFWICD for UAI augmentation, (7) CMSDR for software defined radio architecture, and several other specialized models for classification markings, Universal Armament Interface, and higher classification content. The guide provides implementation instructions, including downloading from SharePoint or DoD SAFE, watching overview videos, and accessing specific model components through Cameo. Support is available through the DASO GRA team at aflcmc.ebr.dasoweaponsgra@us.af.mil.

Weapons GRA v4.1 (RAPiD series) is delivered as a set of Cameo .mdzip SysML models:

• 01 [Program] GIF – Tailorable model to convey program requirements and reusable model elements

• 02 [Program] iHub – Common organization to store data, contribute artifacts and establish data relationships

• Reference and Sample Document Library – Reference document repository (“read-only” model)

• Tool Suite - A collection of instructions and templates used to create selected artifacts

• Contractor Information – Provides contractor name, logo and POCs to tools and iHub

• WOSA – Open standard for internal weapons communication –v3.4 for Cameo R22

• CFWICD – Augments UAI with air-to-air and other messages

• CMSDR – An architecture for software defined radio which can be specified by a program

• Data and Classification Markings – Provides marks and guidance for marking model elements

• Universal Armament Interface (UAI) – Defines common aircraft-to-weapon interface for air-to-ground weapons

• 01A [Program] GIF Annex – Model for higher classification GIF content

• 02A [Program] iHub Annex – Model for higher classification iHub content

• Comment Model – a lightweight mdzip for facilitating comments on a contractor’s implementation and iHub

• GovHub – a USG-only model workspace and tools

• Multiple Profile models – a collection of mdzip files which provide structure for Weapons GRA and Tools
