5.6. Management Review Management Team meets
weekly, however the meetings are addressing immediate issues rather than analyzing data to identify actions required.
Management review requirements are not being fully addressed.
6.2 Human Resources Competence There is not a clear method to ensure on-going competency requirements are met. The competency requirements of the Aviation Support Branch are not documented. It is not clear how training effectiveness is determined.
6.3 Infrastructure The infrastructure controlled by
AWS is determined, maintained, and controlled. The facility, maintained by GSA, especially power and emergency generation, may have a maintenance problem. It is not clear if AWC can or should address this.
6.4 Work Environment Operators can modify their work
station environment for all aspects, including lighting.
Temperature cannot be controlled at the workstation level but appears to be within an acceptable range.

7.6 Control of Monitoring and Measuring
Equipment
There is little equipment used for monitoring and measuring.
Computer models are verified before use and periodically after that.
8.2.1 Customer Satisfaction There are multiple methods to
obtain customer feedback.
However, the method for analyzing and using this information is not formalized.

These methods must demonstrate the ability of the processes to achieve planned results. When planned results are not achieved, correction and corrective action must be taken, as appropriate.

8.2.4 Monitoring and Measuring of Product An automated checking system identifies if a product is late and reports are generated on a routine basis. The capability to check some content and format is available to forecasters as well.
It is not clear if information resulting from the content and format check is maintained.
8.3 Control of Nonconforming Product It is not clear if data is gathered for products that fail the check initiated by the forecasters as described above. Also it is not clear that corrected items from those checks are re-checked.
8.4 Analysis of Data A clear method to analyze data
has not been established.

continual improvement.
8.5.2 Corrective Action There is not a documented
procedure addressing the requirements of ISO 9001 for corrective action. No method is in place for determining when issues would be elevated from correction to corrective action.
It is not clear how effectiveness of corrective actions is confirmed, and that records of the method for determining effectiveness are maintained.
