The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this informational request. AFLCMC/HBU is requesting information from industry to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources to provide an array of different maritime vessel classes to be deployed and operated in specific and directed pathways for observation and operational support services in and around the Charleston, SC area.
The Government is specifically interested in your experience and capability to deploy a variety of sized maritime vessels, able to replicate a provided concept of operations, and to execute the operations consistently and repetitively in communication with the host unit to confirm they are retaining the required information from the operation. Vessels desired for this potential activity include these non-commercial maritime crafts: Class A, Canoes/Kayaks, Other watercraft under 16 feet, Class I, Class II, and Class III vessels
For planning purposes, assume an operational requirement of a two-week period for vessel use to allow data collection in varying weather and operational conditions. For depth and deployment locations, assume the Ashley River and Cooper River in Charleston, SC.
Submitted units must comply with the “Buy America Act” and “Trade
Agreement Act”
