About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for California Counties of Madera (Wage Determination No. 2015-5615, Revision 27, effective 5/13/2026).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in the specified geographic area across numerous occupational classifications organized by category codes. Wage rates range from $14.82 to $69.36 per hour depending on occupation and experience level. All occupations listed receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 per week or $962.00 per month) or $5.89 per hour under Executive Order 13786 ($283.60 per week or $882.27 per month). Vacation accrual follows standard federal practice with two weeks after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years. Employees are entitled to a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Exempt computer professionals paid at least $27.63 per hour may be excluded from certain wage determination requirements. Additional provisions address night pay differentials for air traffic controllers and weather observers, hazardous pay differentials (8 percent and 4 percent based on hazard degree), and uniform allowance reimbursement standards. The conformance process for unlisted occupations requires contractor submission of proposed classifications and rates for Department of Labor review within thirty days.
